Propeller, Rotor & Fan Balancing / Engine Vibration Survey

Canadian Airmotive is the Canadian distributor for TECs line of ACES Analyzers. With 7 analyzers and a line of add-on accessories, users can perform a wide range of functions, from propeller balancing on small piston single aeroplanes and rotor track and balance on helicopters to fan balance and engine vibration survey on airline engines.
From the ProBalancer 1000 for propeller balancing to the 1730 Airline Analyzer for fan balance and vibration survey, we have a model to suit your balancing and survey requirements, including the 1720 Ultra for use on helicopter rotors.
Each Analyzer features easy to use on-screen prompting, allowing the novice user to easily complete the required task. Sophisticated analysis software with user-friendly commands allows data to be stored, up-loaded to a personal computer, analyzed, compared and filed.
All ACES Balancers and Analyzers allow balance/survey data to be directly printed, allowing results to be immediately and easily viewed or attached to maintenance reports and work orders.
For turbine engine fan balance and vibration survey, a comprehensive line of engine specific software ”procedure” cards exist for such engines as the Garrett TFE731, ATF3, TPE331; Pratt & Whitney JT-ISD, PW100, PW300, PT-6; Rolls-Royce TAY, RB211; GE CF-34, CF- 6, CFM-56; Garrett/GE CFE738; Williams FJ-44; Allison A250. Additional engine procedure cards are in development.

Equipment Models

ProBalancer 1000
The ProBalancer 1000 is the easiest and most cost effective propeller balancer available. Able to perform balancing solutions on any propeller driver aircraft, either piston or turbine powered, in as little as three short runs. A ProBalancer with Strobe Output is available for users wishing to also perform visual tracking of propellers or rotors.

1010 Dynamic Duo
For ease of balancing twin engine aircraft simultaneously - the 1010 Dynamic Duo is two ProBalancers in one case.

1700 Analyzer
Performs balancing and vibration survey. Accepts software ”procedure” cards for ease of field programming of specific balancing and survey functions.

1720 Ultra Analyzer
Building on the 1700’s features the 1720 Ultra has multiple input channels and strobe output to accurately perform helicopter rotor track and balance procedures. Great for owners of mixed fleets of aeroplanes and helicopters.

1725 Trim TEC Analyzer
With enhanced features over the 1700, and with a built-in low tooth detector, this analyzer was specifically designed for corporate jet owners and operators.

1730 Airline Engine Analyzer
This is our top analyzer, with four engine inputs, specifically designed for airline engine operators.

Complete Kits
The ProBalancer l000 and the 1010 are available as complete balancing kits, which includes carry case, charger, vibration sensor & cable, phototach & cable, mount. adapters for sensor, digital gram scale, test weight, spinner protractor, reflective tape, prop stickers, training video, printer cable and manual. Analyzers can be kitted to each customer’s requirements.

Add-ons
Sensors
All ACES Analyzer arc sophisticated test instruments which will accept a wide variety of sensor inputs. Various vibration sensors are available including for input and hot sections of turbine engines. Microphone sensors for aircraft noise measurement are available

1750 JEDA
The JEDA is an engine performance measurement module specially designed to operate with the 1700, 1720, 1725 or 1730 and Allied-Signal’s MEDRA V software. Together this package performs fan balance, vibration survey and performance testing of the TFE731

Lasetach II
The industry’s only fully autoranging laser tachometer specifically designed for prop or turbine speed detection in the range of 5 io 100,000 RPM. Allows easy balancing while safely obtaining tach information from a distance
